News THine Announces Adoption of THine’s LVDS by China’s Major Automobile Manufacturer as Original Equipment Product

TOKYO (February 8, 2018) – THine Electronics, Inc. (JASDAQ: 6769), the global leader in high-speed serial interface and provider of mixed-signal LSI, today announces that THine’s LSI for image transmission has been adopted for CID (Center Information Display) of compact SUV of China’s major automobile manufacturer as an original equipment product, and that the compact SUV has already been in mass-production and delivery to the customer.

THine’s LSI for high-speed interface transmission “THC63LVDM83D-Z” has been adopted by China’s major automobile manufacturer.  This transmitter LVDS has been widely used in various applications such as small/medium liquid crystal display, and can handle 1080p/WUXGA resolution.

While compact SUV has become popular in the world, the number of sale of compact SUV is remarkably increasing in China as well.  In the compact SUV incorporating THine’s LSI, the LSI is used as an original equipment product for transmitting images between video processor for generating images to be displayed on CID and liquid crystal display.
