FunctionLVDS
An LVDS serializer converts a 7-bit parallel signal into a 1-bit serial signal; 3 to 5 channels for this process are used to convert the 21 to 35-bit width of the pixel data into serial data. Which bit data contained in the pixel data is to be assigned to which bit location in a serial data stream is specified in VESA and JEIDA standard respectively.

Usually, to support the formats specified by these standards, different types of pin assignment are applied to the data to be input to the serializer. However, our products with MAP function can support both VESA- and JEIDA-compliant LVDS serial data formats without alternating between different data assignments.
