THine has started mass production of new V-by-One®HS products, allowing just one-pair solution for full-HD data transmission

TOKYO (June 10, 2015) – THine Electronics, Inc. (JASDAQ: 6769), the global leader in high-speed serial interface and provider of mixed-signal LSI today announced its starting mass production of new V-by-One®HS products, THCV231-Q / THCV235-Q / THCV236-Q, allowing just one-pair solution for full-HD data transmission of automotive in-vehicle infotainment systems and drive recorders.

All of the three V-by-One®HS products are compliant to AEC-Q100, a widely accepted reliability testing specification of automotive integrated circuits as well as ISO/TS16949, and are applied to in-vehicle infotainment application and drive recorders, as the first shipped application, supporting higher resolution of automotive camera systems, reducing the number of internal cables, resulting in decreasing the weight of copper cables.
The new V-by-One®HS products can transmit full-HD data only by one-pair cables and, using 2 units, 4K data with 30 frames per second only by 2 pairs. Users can reduce system costs, expand designing options, and decrease noises by electro-magnetic interference. 

Through THine’s support for automotive higher-resolution display solution including these brand-new LSIs, one of the major Japanese automotive electronics makers has assigned THine as a key vender. Thus, THine’s solution offering to automotive markets has started penetrating widely. THine continues to offer customers’ value added by optimal solutions with its innovative product portfolios.
