Press Release
THine discloses techniques for advanced interface technologies at the first A-SSCC
At the prestigious the first Asian Solid-State Circuits conference (A-SSCC) 2005 this week, THine Electronics, Inc. (THine, JASDAQ:6769) is presenting two papers with the presentations focused on THine's original vernier over sampling and alignment (VOSA) technique for Gb/s serial communication and wide band clock data recovery (CDR) technologies for video data transmission. At the conference THine is demonstrating how simply VOSA achieves lower bit error rate than usual over sampling device and also how smart wide band CDR transmits digital video data without frequency reference.
Application of smarter interfaces
VOSA technique can be implemented to digital visual interface (DVI) and demonstrate UXGA transmission capacity, expected to be implemented to High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI). The wide band CDR can be implemented to THine's original V-by-OneTM technologies, that can reduces cables for real-time digital data transmission to just one pair.
List of Papers
The followings are two papers being presented by THine at ASSCC 2005:
A Vernier Over Sampling and Alignment technique for Gb/s Serial Communication (Industry Session II)
A Wide Band CDR for Digital Video Data Transmission (Industry Session II)
About A-SSCC
A-SSCC is a newly established international conference by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) regarding to the significant roles in Asian area of its existing International Solid State Circuit Conference (ISSCC). The first A-SSCC will be held in Hsinchu, Taiwan, from November 1st to 3rd, 2005. A-SSCC is not only held in Asian area but also has a feature of encouraging collaboration between academics and industries, offering a new trial of "Industry Program" that allows to demonstrate of new products.
