THine enters automotive markets with its LVDS interfaces
THine Electronics, Inc. (JASDAQ:6769), the global leader in mixed-signal LSIs for flat panel displays, today announced that it enters into automotive markets with its existing LVDS(*1) interfaces, starting volume production in the first calendar quarter 2005. THine plans to promote LVDS interfaces more to automotive markets and develop new interface products, enhancing its quality assurance resources.
THine will supply its LVDS chip set of THC63LVDM83C-MF and THC63LVDF84B-MF, that has high performance proved and widely used in flat television and other digital consumer electronics, for car information systems with digital data transmission. Recently, car information systems have rapidly become intelligent by using more digital signaling so that one vehicle has large amount of sensing LSIs, including CCD cameras devices. THines' LVDS chip set contributes to bring value added digital data transmission for car information systems by reducing cables, decreasing parts lists, and cutting total costs.
