THine releases a new LVDS repeater product for full HD televisions and multi-functional printers
TOKYO (August 7, 2008) ¡İ THine Electronics, Inc. (JASDAQ:6769), the global leader in LDVS(*1) and other mixed-signal LSI for flat panel displays, unveiled today, a new LVDS repeater product, THC63LVD1027, for full HD televisions and multi-functional printers. THine has already started volume production since July 2008.
The LVDS repeater product is developed to expand options to select internal interface of full HD televisions and multi-functional printers (MFP) and improve customer products’ pixel quality.
Television set makers can use the LVDS repeater between picture engine LSI and television panels. THC63LVD1027 has a remarkable feature to sharpen data and clock signal pattern from picture engines of full HD televisions when the signal patterns are inferior to the signal patterns with THine’s LVDS transmitters. This feature can be achieved by the wide LVDS input skew margin of ±480 pico-seconds at 75MHz. Multi-functional printers can use THC63LVD1027 to avoid losses of data signal quality when longer cables are required by constraints of internal wiring spaces.
